Thread: Downloading problems. Slow speed download problem included.

This another repeated question that I have answer many times.
"The download has stopped, help" Or something like that.

Heres it the problem there are no seeds to support the torrent. Here are two examples I took of of two people in this forum.


This is for Auzerus. Look at the seed section. It says 0, meaning there is no seeds that equals no download.

This is at bitcomet. As again there are no seeds in the seed section, therefore no support equals no download.
Click on the mini picture for a bigger one.
Next time look for a torrent with multiple seeds so this doesnt happen again.

Heres another reason if the first did not help. Its not completely logical and very explainable. Its is also not really fixable or can be played around with to make it better. It is when the seeds and the peers/leechers are not working together very well to make a good and stable download speed. Therefore you speed stays very low or at 0. Advice: is to start searching for a new file of the same content or wait a long time for things to even out which can take forever.

Here is another guessed fact that I have found from many post that come in here everday. Since someone upgraded the Bitcomet the download speed gets screwed. My opinion, IF THE BITCOMET WORKS FINE THE FIRST TIME THEN DON'T UPGRADE OR YOUR SPEED IS SCREWED.

Another thing is if you have been like waiting for hours and you have no download I suggest you ditch that torrent until it becomes less popular (if it is) cause if it doesnt come in then its not comming for a long time comming.

Sola firstly that is not my picture, I took it off someone to use it as an example, it is to show that no seeds = no download. Secondly what am I DPing about I have never repeated a subject in the same thread twice or in another tread, besides answering someones question so I would thank you very much to not spam on this sticky.

Have you when you are downloading, you get great speeds at first then later the speeds drops dead, literally. And you can't get past the peer with the highest person in the group or swarm.

I have this problem before. It is 100% the seeds fault. The file I was downloading there were peers at 85% and one seed, I was downloading at 305kB/s but once I reached 85% the speed it pratically dropped dead. It because, for some retared reason, the download won't let you surpass the percentage of the highest peer, not seed. My advice is to wait one or two days for the peers to raise their percentage to 100% then you download with alot of seed. This problem is unfixable, so live with it.

When your internet just shuts off and then you have to restart downloading. Yes this has happened to me before. You will first see that the speed starts out excellent, you leave it on for a while and then, your internet shuts down and then you need to restarted the connection and the download. Then you find out that the speed is slow as hell. This may be the reason why. Then interent is glichy, lots of info is comming into your computer, they are all squeezing through the door of your computer. Thats when you have excellent speeds, suddenly that door breaks from trying to squeeze in alot of info, that door has broken then your internet needs to make a new door. That door is just a make shift door and is not good, therefore you get a crapy speed. Hope you got that. A way to fix it is to maybe limit your speed so there is not too much of anything so you dont blow the door.

Heres a thing I found out. Tracker not only cause problems for you when they fail. They can also screw your speed if they are working at rare occactions. If you have tried everything that they have asked you to do then delete the tracker permantily. Do not re-enter the tracker name. Just leave it and the speed might go back up.

If none of these are working another thing to do is find to activate another torrent with the one you are downloading. I dont know why but it kinda boost the speed a bit.

the trackers are not connected, so i can download nothing
