Alright, so I decided to try out Mozilla's new version of their Firefox browser. Anyway, I just want to know what the difference is between Firefox safe mode and the other one. This is what I;m talking about:
I;m assuming of course that safe mode has extra security, but I don;t see any different options between the two browser modes in the toolbars anywhere.
i think safemode is like windows safemode, in that it loads the bare essentials only---no extensions for example. lots of the extensions don't work properly anymore because the extension manager works differently from before, some even cause firefox to crash outright. safemode ought to allow firefox to still run in such a case.
