Well, looks like our dear friend SharePro didn't read my post before opening his mouth and spewing yet more immature nonsense. Posted at ES5 while JiMi got his account "moderated" (unable to post anything, much like mine did in the time of random_nut discovering the del files exploit in the app).

The following is posted by SharePro in response, skip read by me because he shows once again his low chilidsh mentality and inability to respond in a manor expected of anyone in any sort of "business". I posted on Slyck a few days ago (forgot to log in), the following post. I believe SharePro covers all of the criteria mentioned in my post in his response to JiMiThInG.

It was your users at P2P FORUMS who purchased http://p2pforum.com and http://p2pforum.net and http://kazaaforums.com and gave them to ES5. They no longer post at P2P FORUMS because you bad mouthed ES5. They gave me the domains when they originally purchased them as a donation to you! HAHAHA...

The great thing about ES5 is that not even the RIAA with all their money can penetrate us. We are financed by multi millionaires. That is a fact that should be embraced by the P2P Community. Instead, you have assholes like yourself (i.e. JIMITHING) who all of a sudden become moral.

You want to close ES5. You would prefer that the creators and our users go to jail.

You hate us because we actually work hard to implement security. Kazaa is full of spyware. Kazaa Lite may and/or may not be spyware infested, but if you are downloading from a person who has spyware, then that spyware peer is logging the activity and sending it to the RIAA.

So the old saying is "It doesnt matter if you dont have AIDS cause if the woman you are sleeping with does, you are in danger." So go ahead and use Kazaa.

Edonkey, Emule, IMESH, and BIT TORRENT offer NO SECURITY. No forging of IP address, NO SSL, No multiple proxy support, etc., etc. So we are the bad guys?

We are the only p2p network that speaks directly with the users. I dont see Kazaa owners speaking directly with the users.

We are the only p2p network that doesnt deny building our network for real p2p. Kazaa and the others deny building their p2p programs and network for swapping "illegal" copies.

Since none of the other p2p networks have done a damn thing to implement security, we are the bad guys?

Out of interest, a member on their forum boards mentioned ES5 will in the future have support for plugins to connect to other networks, he gave FastTrack as an example. It's the first I've heard of it, but I'd be interested to know if there's any truth in the matter.

It'd be extremly hypocritical if they need leech on to FastTrack and the other networks they have trashed over the past few months. And if the client disobeys basic network rules on networks which contain clients kept to strict coding rules (ed2k for example), I'll be the first to put my hand up to ban it

when did the users come into it? and there's nothing wrong with trying to research the identity of the owner of a public file sharing network. I have yet to see a network where the creator's identity was so secret. Even the guy who built freenet, the network that's built exclusively for paranoid privacy advocates, has a history that is easily researchable. Hell, he has a public blog
