Of course the mods there say they are above site and person flaming, but did they warn or do anything to the two people above? NO and that is wrong. Its one thing to say that you dont encourage such shit to go on its another to actually do something about it. Especially when its done after they were warned.

Overall its just kinda sad to see such things to happen by such petty indivduals and even sadder to see that they can get away with it.

I don't know about how many other people at zp, but I think you're a good person. maybe the trick is what I always do.. It's what everyone learned in Grade school. Ignore. It's the best thing you can do. If you let it get to you. They (the bullies i.e. Grab and RnR) find a vulnerable person to hurt.. And I am afraid you took their bait.

This is in NO WAY to be a ZP/UTC fighting thread, But everyone has a right to their own opinions, and the first stone was cast, not on this site, but by ZP members when they flamed UTC.

I feel that if ZP members have the right to bitch about UTC, they need to be prepared to be bitched about as well (Not the site, the members in question).

Its one thing to have a beef with Nulls, its another to bash a website as a whole. Even if the thread gets locked, the damage is done, and out there for the world to read at their leisure.

I will admit that you were entitled to what you first posted in that thread. It was YWD who jumped on you and things went downhill from there. After Raindowdemon decided to allow the thread to remain open, I honored that. As a previous mod there, you know that not everyone can monitor all threads all the time. By the time I got wind of it again, the bashing had begun.

Being the new kid on ZP's Staff, I did not wish to rush into deleting posts without an attempt at peace. This did not happen and shortly thereafter, Rainbowdemon closed the thread. If it is preferred that the offending posts be deleted, I don't see a problem with that happening. A warning can also be sent out to all involved. Attacking you was not the subject of the thread and it should not have been allowed. I will say that if the posts are deleted, all but your first post will be deleted also for continuity's sake.

I think I have a very unique and awkward situation being a part of staff at both sites. I do not favor one over the other as both have their pros and cons. I do this for my own sanity, the sake of both sites and in the spirit of P2P.

At this point, I don't know what more can be done. On behalf of my own limited actions, or lack thereof, I apologize for the events that have transpired.

The moderators job is to moderate and enforce the forum rules, not to ignore problems and hope the same people who have done this kind of stuff for years, and are still doing it are for some reason going to stop by themselves..

The members of a site are representative of that site to the rest of the world. I hope this is good reminder because its really the only reason why i posted this thread to point that out. I did it here because i dont want to put up with anymore crap from the same assholes not to start a flame war or anything.

Well it kinda sucks to have a person pop up at ZP every once in awhile and start saying how much the site sucks and so forth. People get tired of that so you must expect a reaction. I would like to keep the peace at both sites but you don't want that seph, thats why you brought this over here. You should have handled this better as you bash our board all the time and for the most part, ZP members have no problem with UTC but there are a few that like to stir this type of shit.(these same ZP members also go to other sites and talk about how stupid ZP people are, Ive seen it and they like to cause problems) I also understand you have problems with people there and they have problems with you too. What's in the past is in the past and that's where it should stay. UTC and it's members do not want to see this shit. It's a known fact that approx 1/2 of ZP's members(meaning the 50-100 regulars...no matter how many names they may have) DO NOT LIKE UTC. Well...there is a reason for that and it's not from the time table from which "current staff" holds. If a majority of them would come here now, they'd most likely change their opinion. We here at UTC have no problem with Seph...and yes we do know what's been said...AGAIN...IN THE PAST!
UTC has grown to become one of the better p2p sites IMHO. I could state the reasons that I personally don't frequent some of the others but that would just be stupid. So....let's all grow the fuck up and stay where we like it. Meaning...if you don't like ZP DON'T GO THERE. And if you don't like UTC DON'T COME HERE! So on and so forth.

Lil Amb and FW, you both know whe accept you over there with open arms. Your both good people and heck, both sites pretty much have the same members pass through them. I've talked with members who have had differences with UTC in the past and trust me, they wish no ill will on UTC and will never come here to start trouble or bash UTC over and over. There will always be a few bad apples as always in life but we shouldn't judge a whole community by their actions. Seph being a mod here is fine, I'm sure he does a good job, but maybe you should search his posts at ZP and see how much he comes over there to bash us. That sort of thing shouldn't be allowed (by a mod) or people really will hate UTC.

I know I am welcome there. I just don't choose to go there. The ones from there that I want to check in on ..I do so, you yourself can verify that. As for the rest...I didn't say "who" was in the wrong. As far as I am concerned my post was not meant for "any" side in particular. If Nulls for instance goes there to start trouble then he shouldn't...If people come here to start trouble ...they shouldn't . Ive probably made a total of 6 posts within the past 6 months.. Your exgeratting things to say the least. Im not the one draggin up past crap, its other members, maybe you should be whining to them because they are the ones starting it. Which is what over half of my posts there deal with.

I dont have to get into details with you, your not a moderator, its not your responisbility period. I dont recall seeing all users must post something we all agree with and must kiss ass, as one of the rules over there. My post contents and any problems with such is a matter between me and the moderators over there.

Im not a moderator over there, i dont have to deal with the people over there, i dont owe zeropaid anything, and i certainly dont have to help them or go out of my way for them anymore. Im just a regular member and i expect to be treated and given the same protection under the rules just like anyone else.

When you take it out of context I'm sure it does piss you off. But, her statement was referring to the old rules that were in place, due to some ( not all ) of the past staff members wanting things done in that way.

UTC is now more relaxed, and some of the members who hate UTC, hate UTC because of the way the site was run in the past. they may not realize that the site has changed,because they have not returned since then.

Facts are facts. When other people were staff here, UTC was a different place. That is in no way a slam against any one person. We have all grown, learned and moved on.

Your right Im no mod, I turned it down. Don't want to be one either. Its not between you and the mods over there when you drag what 2 member said over to these forums. PM the mods if you have a problem with them. Im on the forums everyday and anti UTC comments have not been allowed. As soon as a mod see's anything like that it is dealt with. In fact UTC is never brought up until you come along and members start flaming. (Im not blaming you for this) You have been able to speak your mind there with out mods banning you so whats the problem? I don't see how you've been mistreated. You know you give as good as you get. I have asked other members to try to get along but there are others I just don't talk to because they're the people who just stop in at ZP to bash the people there anyway. They are not what ZP is about but are allowed to say what they feel just like you are. Maybe you feel im lower than you and you don't have to talk to me about these things since I'm no mod but I would like if you would coninue to drop in on ZP and ignore the chuckleheads. I may not always agree with your views but I find them interresting and I find debate is a healthy thing. I hope you will one day be able to give ZP a friendly visit but at least drop by and let us know of any problems so hopefully they can be resolved.

P.S. there are no anti UTC threads except one you started some time ago. Most people we have there now don't even know what UTC is. Do a forum search on "UTC" and see what you find. you will find we hardly ever mention UTC. Check the dates also. Please give us members that want UTC people to visit a chance. I have a dream that one day the two sites will unite and maybe even be friendly to each other. That would be shocking, no?

My reference had nothing to do with you #1. Not at all. I have no beef with you. And it didn't really have anything to do with what you are referring. You aren't thinking far enough back...in staff sense.
