that IS nice.
I took it and added a nice STEEL-Blue/Grey color to it... makes for a cool desktop

I think ya just "tweaked" it. As long as ya left the sig on theres nuthin wrong with adjusting the color for your desktop.
The thing is DC definately has a signature style all his own. I can usually pick out his work very easily, so it would be futile to try to pull any funny business with his work, any more than you could pass off the Mona Lisa as yer own. But yea, I know what ya mean. There is a certain sanctity to the work of a true artist. The problem with the digital medium is that it is so easy to fool with the work.
I know how it feels to create something of elegance and beauty, only to one day find painted cement pelicans placed prominently in the composition. That is the conundrum, once you create something for someone else, it is theirs to do with as they please. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, just don't go superimposing any pelicans on DCs work, OK.............:artist:

Thanks for the comments all :)
I think this will end up being a work in progress as I'm continually adding to the original to give it an interface access point kind of feel ;)

I'm assuming it's in 3-D. I can't see if it is because of my puny NVIDIA TNT2 card, which doesn't do 3-D (cheap piece of Taiwanese-made ************!!!)
It looks awesome though even in 2-D
