Challenge 2

How can you change this picture with out using other images?????

Rules for this challenge:

1) Must use all of the original picture.

2) Filters Only to Change the picture (you can give it a solid BG if you wish, but it must be made with filters or the fill option,Gradient or solid)

3) No Tubes (psp)


The file was saved as a PNG, it will have a transparent BG when opened.

What program are you using?

Filters are Plug-ins used to creat different effects. There are many free filters that you can download and add to your graphics programs. Do a google search for plug-ins or filters for the program you are using.

u mean like doing a charcoal effect?

im using arcsoft photoimpression without any plug-ins

wow, I went on a search for sites that might have plug-ins and stuff for arcsoft today, now it is 5 hours later and I have a bunch of brushes for my progs.
I never really could find anything for yours except what I think was a web plug-in.

Also, do we have to use just PS or the photoediting progs? Can i pull it into a vector program?

I'll try a different way, but I keep getting an error message reading "cannot parse file"


Damn, keeps launching PS7, so I tried just right clicking on it. Nope, comes as an attachment.

Hey sep...I use ps7...its a .PNG file...anyone should be able to open it.Unless you are refereing to the zip file.... I used tugzip to zip it....so you may need something like that to open the Zip....I think...I could be wrong.....winrar will work...TugZip is in the downloads section if you need it....

Mine--this is not so easy. I kept wanting to add stuff with my brushes.
I only used ps7, not any of my other progs.

Did use a zip prog that will open rar's and all too. I don't know. I just did a screenshot and cut after setting the res on the new doc to 200.
Are we restricted to PS or one of those, or can we go into Bryce, Illustrator, etc?

You can use any program you want to, just be careful to follow the rules of the challenge....
