Is that Bach or Beethoven? I can't recall any works either did with water--all i cn think of is Pachabel's Canon in D minor--it alsways seems to get set to sea sounds.
Now handel has a piano piece that has been put to ocean tunes.
Mozart was landlocked.
Don't think it's Brian Wilson or any of the Beach Boys.

Is it Emerson because of Walden's Pond? I was just talking about he and the other Exitentialists the other day--yes, I really was, and there were others in the room LOL.......I don't think the pond was big enough for waves.
And it definitely isn't Columbus or Polo or even Leif Erickson. No, doesn't have Ponce DeLeon's pointy hat.

Okay.....who is it?

BTW nice job everyone.

putting you out of your misery....

....its fourier, a mathematician who worked out that all wave functions could be made up of a series of cosine or sin terms

so not that interesting in the end

Oh my daughter would love it--she does trigonometry to relax, the way some people do crosswords. she looks forward to calculus.
I can't say much though, I like doing algebra p[roblems for the fun of it, or at least used to until about a year ago.

Math and music, very similar in many ways. I'm reading a book on Galileo right now--yeah, I pick some weird stuff to read. He fought many fights becuase of his mathematical theories and how they applied to physics--had to go in front of the inquisition and died under house arrest for herasy.

Damn Kitty--I thought about putting faces in my bubbles, but then I saw yours and wanted it to be different.
You guys, as my child would say, and did when she saw these, "are the shit"--a very good thing.........
Here's mine, way late, but just used a bunch of filters and color modes, selected backgrounds and mounted.
