I am seriously surprised it didn't say : your not a nerd but you are a moron. Some of those answers were too funny not to choose them!

I do enjoy reading reference materials at times, and also keep a dictionary next to my book for the meaning of those words that I sometimes just gloss over thinking I'll figure out from use & context. Though I am not at all pedantic about this, anyone that would say that I have not at times shown a bit of nerdiness, would be mendacious. I just do it with style.
I have aspirations of some day earning the right to have a set of identical looking pens in my pocket, with the protector. Unfortunately I haven't gotten there yet.
Also, the spare side of my bed nows houses a plethora of tech manuals so that if I do feel like it, my materials are close at hand. My palms do get sweaty when I see books dealing with the more technical things in life, And don't get me started on those cables and other pieces of hardware. I worship the moment when I get my ezines dealing with a number of subjects.
And I know a lot of stupid stuff like the habits of Victorian poets, how different colors affect the way one shops, what the R Rating on insulation is, etc.
When walking down the sidewalk, I realize that on a molecular level, I could be treading on sands brought over through eons of circulation from the Sahara, breathe the same air that has pssed through the lungs of Motzart and Einstein, and I truly enjoy the reading of Greek dramas like Antigone, etc.
