1) Creat new file (ctrl+n) Or File>new
What ever size you want the pipe. In this example I used 500 X 25
2) Fill The box with copper Gradient
Press Shift, and draw from the top to the bottom of the box.
3) Got to image>Adjustments>Curves
Click in the middle of the box...it will give you the option to type in the settings.
Use the settings:
Input: 72
Output: 100
4) Create a new layer (shift+Control+N)
5) Useing your line tool Make a black line 2PX
6) Duplicate layer, Rasterize the layer. Hit ctrl+I (this makes the top line white) hit your right arrow key 2 times to nudge the line to the right.
7)Link the 2 lines together then merge linked
8) Press Alt+Shift and click on the lines To Duplicate them across the pipe.
9) IF You chose to stop here you can.

OPTIONAL STEP:
1) Link all line layers in pallette and merge linked.
Right click on the lines layer add blending options
Following these settings.
Drop Shadow: Distance 0
size 9
Inner Shadow: Opac at 100%
Distance 0
size 0
2) Merge Visible
3) Blending options:
Following these settings:
Inner shadow: opac 100%
Distance 0
size 10
4) Flatten Image
5) Layer>Adjustmenats> Hue and Saturation
Move sliders until you reach the color you want to use.
