UTC New Look

Hello :) I am not being rude or anything, but i am just suggesting that UTC gets a new look and a new name to generate more users! I enjoy Slyck and Zeropaid way better because they are much easier to read and have better names.
UTC is bloated :( i am so sorry to say this!
It is abit ugly too. :( :(

If you agree with me about the new look bit, please vote in the poll.
You wont be dissing UTC in any way, it will just be easier for them to take it into concideration that they need a new look, to look more professional :)

First let me point out, this website has been around for many years, with the name.

secondly, as nitnay said there are other skins you can chose from. You may find one you like better.

Lastly, Most people spend a little more time at a website, before they make a final decision on what they like and don't like.

The name is fine and there is history behind it. It doesn't need changed.

As for a new look, ive been using the Greenthumb skin since I first came here around a year and a half ago!!

Personally I think UTC is more attractive than a lot of other forums out there.

Im sure new skins will be made available in time.

Some of the origainzation on the front page could be made a little simpler. Theres way too much in the right column, alot of the stuff at the bottom kinda gets lost, a left column with moving some of that stuff over would be a easy fix.

The fixed size kinda cramps everything together for people with high screen resolutions too. If it was floating for those with wider broswers then it would open things up some and have some more space.

Other than those two kinda small things which i think those two address your complaints, the layout isnt that bad and i dont think its that bloated though, especially compared to the other p2p sites.

If the UTC is redesigned then I would have to learn to find everything all over again and I'm lazy
I kind of like things as they are. To many things are changing to fast in the IT world lets keep something like a calm and familiar place to meet.

What? Change the name? How do you think we're still under the RIAA/MPAA's radar? Zeropaid and Slyck are just way too obvious P2P names. They probably think UniteTheCows is an Amish website, so they don't bother us.

I had UTC as my homepage when the cable guys came by, they were like WTF? is this? I told them it was just a news site.
Since I'm in Wisconsin, the Dairy State, I think they thought I was keeping up on cheese reports or something.
It's terrible, I go to O'Hair in Chicago and see someone with a big cow bag, I know they have been up here.
