Tutorial: Adding a bot from BotServ to your IRC channel and how to set it up.

So you have decided to add a BotServ bot to your channel.BotServ allows you to have a bot on your own channel. It has been created for users that can't host or configure a bot, or for use on networks that don't allow users' bot. This is how you go about getting one, and getting it set up. For this we will go back to our Tutorial room.

First of all, you must have your channel Registered, and be identified as the owner of the room.

In the window, type /msg BotServ BOTLIST
This will give you a list of available bots.

After reading through the list, and deciding on a bot type /msg ASSIGN channel bot name
EXAMPLE: /msg BotServ ASSIGN #eatmyfeet RuMbLeFiSh

Now your bot is in the room....

Ok now to set up the bot:)

This is the fun stuff!
To set up your bot, to do what ever it is you want it to do, you ned to know the list of commands. You can do this one of two ways. You can either type /msg BotServ HELP SET, or you can follow the list I am including in this Tutorial.

Here is a list of commands: Type: /msg BotServ channel option parameters
Example: /msg BotServ SET #eatmyfeet DONTKICKOPS ON

DONTKICKOPS This willprotect ops against bot kicks
DONTKICKVOICES This will protect voices against bot kicks
GREET Enables a greet messages
FANTASY Enablea fantaisist commands
SYMBIOSIS will allow the bot to act as a real bot

To set up KICK controls:
type: /msg BotServ KICK channel option parameters
EXAMPLE: /msg BotServ KICK #eatmyfeet FLOOD ON

BOLDS Sets if the bot kicks bolds
BADWORDS Sets if the bot kicks bad words
CAPS Sets if the bot kicks caps
COLORS Sets if the bot kicks colors
FLOOD Sets if the bot kicks flooding users
REPEAT Sets if the bot kicks users who repeat themselves
REVERSES Sets if the bot kicks reverses
UNDERLINES Sets if the bot kicks underlines
