LMFAO!! That was FUNNY as Hell! what was she doing tapping her feet for no reason haha!

she came out the first time and performed "Pieces of Me" which went well but then on the second performance.....some guy introduced her....and the band started playing "Pieces of Me" again....which she just performed....but suddenly, the song played, you hear her vocals but her mouths not moving, she just stopped and looked around all dumb, did some stupid dance and walked off stage....her band were pretended to play and were just smiling in embarassment ..

Very funny stuff. I've been reading about it at a couple of forums. What I don't get is why so many people are just attacking her . I guess her fan boards are getting attacked too. Name your favourite artist or band and I can guarantee they've done the exact same thing for a live TV performance. They have the song playing in the background for a few reasons. They often think it sounds cool, studio recording's are better quality than live so it sounds better and if they need to take a breath or dance they can do so. The blame for the f***up clearly belongs on the sound enginneer for cueing up the wrong song, not Ashlee or the rest of her band. Not quite sure why she blamed her band. You can clearly hear the band start playing the right song, then the wrong vocals start and the band quickly switches to try to cover up and she decides to do a hoedown instead of play along.

NEW YORK - If Ashlee Simpson's stomach was upset Saturday night, imagine how she's feeling now. Busted for a "Saturday Night Live" lip-synch gone awry, her manager-father said Monday his 19-year-old daughter used the extra help because acid reflux disease had made her voice hoarse.
