In the latest issue of People Magazine, a variety of celebs were asked what other celebs did they have a crush on and Carson Kressley from the Bravo Channel's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy said that he has a crush on The Rock and is quoted as saying, "He totally ROCKS my world"

But then again.. can you blame him :squint:

**Hey Rock, I cropped your pic so it wouldn't stretch the tables. I didn't want to make the ROCK look small, therefore, the crop--Sepia

Rock, you do know that all that TV wrestling is fake don't you?

I would have thought Carson would have picked someone more cultural. But, I have heard from a friend who lives in Milwaukee and has done some business consulting For Dwayne the Rock's wife that he actually is quite well educated and enjoys live theatre, the ballet, opera, etc. How much of this is true, who know? And, he could just be putting on a good show for his wife even if he does go to all that stuff. But, supposedly, he is nothing like his televison persona. He's actually nice and intelligent.

It's one of those ownership words I do believe Nit.
I can make ethnic and social "slurs" about myself, and designated friends can, but if it comes from a stranger, NOT...........

It is kind of interesting to watch the progression of terminology and political correctness over the decades.

That show Boston Public had a show dealing with just that a few years ago, it dealt with terminology regarding African Americans.

I've been told before that I am more of a "sista" than some others that look the part becuz of my cooking (I can put my foot in it on alot of stuff--translate that one...:squint: ) and my ease around people. But, I would never walk into a youth center, bar, playground and use the "n" word. It would be disrespectful. It can be said to me, and I can say it laughingly to some of my friends, but that's it.
