last night when Unite was updating the site, I had no idea wtf was going on, so I clicked on the eMail link that let me send an eMail to the admin@unitethecows.com.
Every eMail was sent back to me; I use hotmail and this is what the message said:
The original message was received at Thu, 7 Aug 2003 02:18:38 -0500
from root@localhost
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<admin@unitethecows.com>
(reason: can't create (user) output file)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
procmail: Quota exceeded while writing "/var/spool/mail/admin"
550 5.0.0 <admin@unitethecows.com>... Can't create output
I'm guessing that the eMail was down because the site was down... but if that was the case, then it doesn't make much sense to have a link to eMail the admin when the site is down if he's never going to get it. I suggest that the eMail perhaps be on an independent site or server. hotmail, yahoo, even lycos?
just a thought
