Fellow cows, i come to you in hopes that you can help me solve this riddle, as it has been driving me crazy for a month now. Around a month ago a good friend of mine told me a riddle that goes like this
---------------------------------------------------------
A man in a restaurant who cannot read is enjoying a meal. When somebody who knows full well he cannot read hands him a piece of paper, and tell him that if he can read that he will give the man 2million dollars. The man struggles for a minute and then goes home and shows the paper to his wife, she slaps the man , packs her bags , takes the kids and walks out on him. He then goes to the neighbor lady, he shows her and she calls the police whom he shows the paper to, subsequently he goes to jail for 8 years, while there he learns to read. Upon getting out he his given back the piece of paper he had with him, he reads it, then steals a police mans gun and shoots himself in the head.
--------------------------------------------------------
Now..what does the piece of paper say?

THINK COWS THINK!!!!!!!!!

1. Cathy has six pairs of black gloves and six pairs of brown gloves in her drawer. In complete darkness, how many gloves must she take from the drawer in order to be sure to get a pair that match?

I'll post the answer tomorrow sometime...

Depends.

If the gloves are ambidextrous (Each can be worn on either hand), three (Black, brown, thein either one satisfies the condition of creating a pair).

If the gloves are differentiated, 13 (6 Left black, 6 left brown, 1 of the other hand of a specific color.

If the gloves are a specific pairing (Glove A black does not match Glove B black), it is also 13 (A-F Black left, A-F Brown left, A Black right).

riddle answer

13. She could possibly take out 6 black left hand gloves and then 6 brown left hand gloves, the next one would have to be either the right hand or left hand match.
