dsl connection and worse than 56k k++ dowloads

Hey all,
Hope I got this in the right spot.

I've got kazaa++ right now and trying to download something is a pain. I'm getting worse speeds with my 512kbs dsl connection than I did with my 56k connection. I go into kazaa and find a file that has like 20 users hosting it and try to download it. It will usually download at 0.0kbs to o.70kbs tops if any at all and usually it will say more sources needed even when theres 20 users hosting it. I have no firewall and run through a westell 2200 natrouter. I really am not sure what to do. I could use some help on forwarding ports for k++. I have tinkered with them but still it does not help. I have tired everything I can think of. Right now I'm trying to use http tunnel to see if my isp blocks p2p ports. I have also tried setting it to other ports to no avail. Even on port 80 I get the same speeds. I'm lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.-Its really depressing to see pictures of people downloading at 25kbs and the highest I get is 0.70kbs

The problem may not be on your end, but those you are connecting to. If they are on dialup, they can only upload so fast or if they are sharing a lot of files then they could have numerous users downloading from them.

You just have to keep checking the sources, and hope ytou hit someone with good up speed and not alot going out at the moment.

On my 56k I used to get 5kbs download speeds and on my dsl now I get about 0.70kbs if that. I tried to download a file tonight that had 45 users hosting it and k++ was still trying to find more sources. I really dont get this one

Have you run a spyware check on your puter latly ?
What about an anti virus scan ?

your file has no connectable sources boss. try jumping or even changing supernodes to find more connectable sources
