Is Eragon one of the LOTR books? I would love to know as Gia has almost all of them and I would love to buy it for her birthday.

Eragon is in no way related to LOTR. You're thinking of Aragorn, the ranger played by Viggo Mortensen in the movie.

This is by an author named Christopher Paolini and is a story about a boy named Eragon, his teacher Brom, and a dragon.
