Note To Anti P2P Companies
Some of you will definetely be sending legal threats my way soon. On BitTorrent, I'm intentionally sharing only a couple of KB of each torrent, but specifically, torrents that you are likely to target, I'm sharing this purely for the purpose of trapping p2p-enemy-IPs, nothing more. 3KB (roughly the amount of each torrent I have) of a file - that's around 1/100000th to 1/200000th of the file, which isn't really a great contribution to copyright infringement! - That's what I'm doing, I do expect legal threats but I'm not really sharing the files, I'm intentionally appearing to share them in order to trap your IPs.
by Method .
note : http://methlab.tech.nu/ , the PG2 IP Database page could not be
displayed cause work on it .

The PGIP is temporarily down but a few people have donated (there's a paypal link on the site now).. so hosting should be back up soon.
I know 2 PCTT/UTC people have contributed... I can't express how grateful I am.. to be honest, didn't expect a penny but some people are really kind. Anyway, normal service will be resumed soon... just gotta a couple more dollars in and we're laughing.

message from http://methlabs.org/methlabs.htm :
The PGIPDB is temporarily available from 1am-5am GMT at present and a new server should be ready in about a week. The database system is getting updated too. This will help stop duplicate or overlapping ranges, ask people to comment if they vote and also a much larger team of admins/moderators. The admin system will also allow moderators to add protected ranges.
And if you're using the latest version and BayTSP send you a letter, cross-reference the time and date of the offence with your logs to try to identify their IP address, take into account time-zones... and if you're pretty sure you've got the right IP. Let me know!! :)
and :
http://methlab.tech.nu/
http://xs.tech.nu/
dont work.
i guess , we must wait another bit

hey Method in your ZA4 version of the database you get errors when something in the name has this
<search>
you have to go through and take them all out and then it works great. Did you see my post for you at PCTT about the addresses showing up on PG? I was thankful i had it running at that time.
:) :) :) :)

Not sure why the forum is down but I'll contact Eremini today to find out.
As for the ZAPro4 list, I'll get that fixed today. Thanks for the heads up on what was wrong with it!!
I've also removed all duplicated ranges and ranges within ranges now... in other words, cleaned the DB up a bit.
