How do i burn dat files to dvd? im sorry but i am new to this i just downloaded a movie and need some help on what to do!.

If you have Nero, I believe it will burn .dat files directly to disk. Of course you need a DVD burner.


If you want to convert it to VCD, there are many good programs for that. In general many video conversion programs will convert from .dat to .mpg or .avi, this way you can watch them on your computer.

Okay, if I should choose to dl a movie, I need to make a certain number of posts in one of the BT sites?
Should I convert and throw some movies on my hard drive to share or is having a fair amount of music okay? (I do have some very new releaes on DVD that I bought so I could throw them in here.)
Will PG protect me while I am doing a BT dl?I read through the how to section on BT's you have here, and it helped, but I still have questions. Another one--it mentions I need to download a Torrent, or am I reading that wrong? Is that a software app?

Please instruct me oh wise ones.....

@Sepia: a torrent is a link file. You dl it, and load/open it through your BT app.
There are different applications for using BT: Azureus, ABC etc..

Yes, PG should also cover your **s here too :)

About posting limit etc. I don't know that much. Some sites I have memberships in require you to reseed (upload) files certain amount or get banned.
