I can't seem to connect to Ares at all. My sister's computer connects and she's connected to the same router. No ports are being forwarded, because they never needed to be. I am having trouble connecting to a lot of things right now, like irc (on some clients). I just received internet access back on my computer, and it's acting strangely. Can anyone tell me why Ares won't connect? I've let it sit for like 20 minutes, but nothing happens. I am running Windows 2000, latest version of Ares JUST installed, and the connection test says failed every time. I do not use proxies either, and just in case I forwarded the incoming connections port, but still no go. I hope someone can tell me what's wrong. :|
