Isn't it supposed to be Eurasian continent (or whatever is the english word) instead of two different continents? At least it was 1 huge one last time I checked my geography bookz..

I think Europe and Asia are different and then there's Australia aka MuDland, N and S america, and Antarctica.
But, continents and countries change alot from year to year.

Eurasians are pretty people with both Occidental and Oriental features.

Unless geography books have changed drastically since I was in college, (possible I guess in 20 odd years  ) there are 7 continents, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica. Europe and Asia are considered seperate continents, even though connected. The western half of Russia is considered to be in Europe, as much by culture as by topography.

I almost minored in geography. I had about 16 credit hours I think, and I needed 21. ;)

From About.com (http://geography.about.com/library/faq/blqzcontinents.htm)

Geography
How many continents are on the earth?
A continent is one of several major land masses on the earth. There is no standard definition for the number of continents but you'll commonly find that the numbers six or seven are used. By most standards, there are a maximum of seven continents - Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. Most students in the U.S. are taught that there are seven continents.

In Europe, many students are taught about six continents, where North and South America is combined to form a single America. Thus, these six continents are Africa, America, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Many geographers and scientists now refer to six continents, where Europe and Asia are combined (since they're one solid landmass). Thus, these six continents are Africa, Antarctica, Australia, Eurasia, North America, and South America.

What?????

That just showed everybody was right, including you. Although I was surprised that European students are taught that the Americas are one continent, I can buy the Eurasian continent a lot easier.............
