Shareaza .sd files

I use Shareaza v 1.8.9.1.7 and I also use Norton SystemWorks. Apparently, SW starts my computer session by "conveniently" deleting files from my computer which it feels are not needed. Only problem is, it selects .sd files as well from my Shareaza incomplete folder. Are these necessary to have in the folder to have a complete, error free file upon completion?

i wouldnt have them deleted, but im not sure....just dont delete them 8-)
