Doom 3 ready to roll out

ID SOFTWARE said Doom 3 has gone gold, and the release date is likely to be August 3rd, as predicted and predicated.
The firm said that some copies will be available before the shop opens, so whipping up the storm.

The "actual" release date, it said on the ID Soft web site is 5th August in the United States.

Various vendors are hoping this encourages sales of their hardware "offerings".

i just found the plasma gun..;)
theres a duct tape (http://ducttape.glenmurphy.com/) mod already for it..

as you need to have a flashlight that is seperate from the weapons..and there are plenty of red eyes spooks in the dark places..
also you can fix the darkness issue point your BFG to the file DoomConfig.cfg in Doom 3\base and look for seta r_gamma "1" as a freind in another forum posted..:D

another flashlight mod..LOL no thanks....but interesting all the same..the games barely been out a week..:)

Already finished the game this morning. I took a week but i took my sweet time. Game makes u paranoid but doesnt creep u out too much. Cant wait for mods though....*evil laugh*
