my moniter lost its connection . i was sleeping and woke up the second my moniter shut off . i went over to it and tried to move the mouse around but nadda . the tower was still on and everything was running but my moniter ,which only had blinking lights under the screen ?

so , is this a dead moniter ?

well , it doesnt end there .

i then restart my pc and hold down the button on the tower .when it boots up it reads a boot error erease and asks for a floppy . i completely shut it down and waited 15 seconds then booted back up . the pc started like nothing happend ?

Do you have the newest drivers for your video card? Try that, then if it happens again, look for a BIOS firmware update. If it keeps happening, reformat.
