Some friends and I are gunna try it sometime in the near future. I know some people who tried it at school it said it was pretty cool. I used to have a site around that had alot of info on it, but cant find it now. From what I learned from the people who did it don't do it by yourself. Be sitting down when your smoking because some people fell over trying to walk or just sit down. Have someone whose completely sober so they can watch you and make sure nothing happens.

Ummmm, as one who has done his fair share of "experimenting", I must strongly caution you guys.

Legal, natural and free mean nothing here. I will look into this but I must tell you that there are many natural substances that are far more harmful than any of the tried and true artificial substances.

Datura and jimson weed pop to mind. Both of these are extremely dangerous, yet natural and grow wild in much of the world.

I would strongly caution you to resist the urge to experiment with questionable substances. There is enough bad information out there that I would not trust any amount of research when it comes to such matters. If I had a nickle for everything I wish I hadn't done in my younger days..............................

I have re-opened this thread.

Let it be known, UTC is in noway responsible for any one hurt or killed because of trying such substances, nor do we condone such activities.

I have several friends who are very into it, and a few who got pretty sick from it, both physically and mentally.
It is a hard one to get good quantitative strengths that are consistent on. there are sites you can go to that will give you in pros and cons of it.
there is a movement of doctors that feel it may help with breaking the addictive cycle, but I think Leary was also thinking along those lines with LSD, and that didn't quite work that way.
There's a lot more info on it on the web than there used to be.

yea, I will probably never try it either. I am curiouse though, would it show up on a drug test as a positve result for some other drug?

No, it currently isn't on the list of drugs normally tested for. That is much of the appeal of it. Ecstasy just now is being tested for and has its home test kits available at the druggists. The normal UA tests for cocaine and cannibus. Opiates if that is your thing. Depends on if you are being tested by the Department of Corrections or your doctor.
Like acid, it basically is a catalystic drug that quickly exits the body after setting up a chain reation in the neuro-transmitters.

Try this site (http://www.sagewisdom.org/) for info available in many languages.

Let me make it clear: I am not advocating the use of this plant, or any others found on this site or in its web ring.

Great. So we re-open this only to make a comment followed by a disclaimer how we are not condoning the use of Saliva Divine or whatever the hell it's called.

Peace Dood!

Yes

I talked to a few people who say they have tried it before and they said its a lot like a hard core acid and they don't recommend trying it ever.
