NEW YORK - No word yet on when the next Harry Potter book comes out, but at least there's a title: "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince."
"Well the door opened at last and I showed you the title of book six — the genuine title, the title that will appear on the published book, the title I have been using in my head for ages and ages," author J.K. Rowling wrote on her Web site.
The British author's U.S. publisher, Scholastic, confirmed the title on Tuesday.

Sepia falls face first in the dirt and props herself up with her own broom stick moaning "he hasn't fallen off that broom yet?"
Naw. It is an amazing series. I thought the most interesting part was the way she wrote to the reader--the books got a bit more difficult and grown up in nature with each new book.
But, when I read them, I sat and read them one after another in a row. By the end of the last book, I was a bit burnt out on Harry and was like either kill voldmort or just fall and die.
I'm not much for fantasy literature I guess.

LONDON (AFP) - Best-selling children's author J. K. Rowling has given fans of her Harry Potter (news - web sites) books a brief but tantalising taster of the next title in the series chronicling the boy wizard's adventures, a report said.
Visitors to her website, www.jkrowling.com, were able to play an online game of darts, which, if accomplished successfully, revealed a picture of a safe on the page, the Sun newspaper said in its Saturday edition.
Those able to crack the safe's code were able to see two sentences from the as-yet unreleased sixth book in the series, "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince".

And, I'm sure there will be a movie for this and of course a special "Extended Edition LOTR" movie just in time for Christmas?

Yes, LOTR-ROTK will have an extended edition and also an extended edition gift pack before Christmas. I think it comes out around Dec 15th.

There goes my bank account. The first time they did that, I ran out and bought the first LOTR movie, then, all of a sudden, a special version came out. Gia had to have it. She has read all the books so many times--I've never even finished the Hobbit. I'm not much into fantasy I guess.
Now, I just wait for the extended additions to come out.
