I just got a new IP yesterday and one of the first things I did was go to Macromedia's site and d/l and install the current Flash Player and the Shockwave Player. So both are installed and I checked to make sure. (I've gone to several flash/shockwave sites and everything works fine)
The problem is, when I log into UTC I get the pop-up to d/l and install the Flash Player 7.xx.......(for UTC to be viewed properly)...
If I click no and if I refresh the site later, while still logged in, the darn pop-up comes up again......
If I click yes (just for general principle) the pop-up disappears (but there is no indication that the Flash Player was "reinstalled".)
If I log out and then log back in again, the annoying pop-up reappears! aaarrrggghhhhhh! I tried clearing my cache but that does not help.
I can only assume that it has something to do with UTC, because other flash enabled sites work with no problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Please.

Thanks for the replies..... :)
I don't think it has anything to do with the sig pic because it happened before I put my sig back up.
I'll uninstall/reinstall Flash and let you know the results.

Problem solved, I think.....*L* Well, I didn't get the pop-up when I logged back in.
Anyway, just for info for other folks.
I uninstalled Shockwave and Flash. (BTW, there is no uninstaller for Flash, well there is, but you have to go to Macromedia's site and d/l it. Why they didn't include an uninstaller, who knows.)
Anyway, I'm still not sure as to why the problem only occurred just on UTC, you might be right Lion, something specific to UTC may have triggered it.
I think the problem had something to do with Webroot's Window Washer 5.5, I had installed. It has a built in plug-in that cleans Flash/Shockwave MRU's and whatever. I had turned off a bunch of the plug-in and cleaning options, but when I checked the settings again, everything was turned back on. I was wondering why I couldn't keep personalized settings on my Start Menu and in a few other things. This sucker wipes out a bunch of stuff if everything is enabled.....gggrrrrrrr! So, I figure that version of the program is buggy!
To make a long story short, reinstalled Flash/Shockwave, fixed my settings again and put the 4.8 version of Window Washer back in. I know that version is stable.
So, now no more annoying Flash pop-up! :)

WW is a good program, I won't deny that. Its great for cleaning out the trash really quick, but after playing with v5.5 for awhile, I think the developers got a little carried away. It really doesn't tell you in detail what each function cleans or deletes and in some cases it cleans some things that might be best left alone.
I personally wouldn't recommend WW 5.5 for someone who has limited knowledge on the inner workings of Windows.
Couple things I didn't like was that it automatically adds context menu entries that can only be removed by manually editing the Registry. I hate programs that do that. Plus the built in plug-ins cannot be edited.
Oh well, I uninstalled it and the problems went away, thats all I care about...*L*...
