the old soulseek domain has been taken over by some ***tards who have replaced the website. This new site looks frighteningly similar to the old one. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the following: they offer downloads to what appears to be the same old slsk149c.exe. HOWEVER, do not click (anywhre) as it will force you to download what i can only guess to be megabytes of trashy spyware!! STEER VERY CLEAR OF WW*.SLSK.ORG :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:

Going to pass this on to my friends & neighbours, you would think the ISP's would get a handle on this and email ppl to be aware.

Some folks coming to the net for the first time are so innocent and gullible.

Regards

Dan

Why has noone thought to go for the easy option of shutting them down? A nice explanatory email to bother the registrar, and the host should sort things out. I'd do it myself, but i don't know the full details.
