It also depends on what type of connection you have, i.e Dial up/Cable/DSL, if you have Cable/DSL how fast is it?

I have tried LCD,emule plus, and a couple of other mods for emule and I can't get decent speeds out of any of them.My upload speeds are always the top for my connection (16KB/sec) but my download speeds stay around 1KB-3KB/sec if that.I have tried messing with settings and it's not a source issue because there are always tons of sources that I am usually stuck in queue lines of 1000 or higher.Any suggestions?Does anyone else experience this?

I have had a similar experience lately, only my UL's seem to have slowed too. I took it to be the cap that my isp has recently changed in regards to the ED2K network, but after seeing what BTF said, now I wonder. eMule used to be great for me, but not now. Curious.?!?!?

I suggest using Ovenet. It has worked great for me.I usually get speed around the 40 kb/s and there have been times when I get very close to my maximum speed .There is the slight disadvantage that it contains adware.:(
Although I just usually clean my cookies folder after using it and everything's fine :)

You guys should give the latest LSD mod a try. Its been awesome for me so far, better than any other version.

I have even tried that one jabaman.I had heard alot of ppl say that version rocked, but it wasn't any better for me.I was still only getting 1-3KB/sec download if that.I even tried going through the list of sources and getting rid of the files that were stuck in a long queue line hoping that would help it find other sources that were available, and still nothing. This sucks too because I like the donkey network, and I can't get it to perform for me.

Have you tried the older Tarod mods? Tarod's always been my standby, has never failed to work. Still one the best mods IMO..
