Well, since the old one got erased, I'm bringing it back for another round of pain! Anyway, for those that didn't see the old injuries thread, it's where we share all the stupid painful things that we've done to ourselves.
Example: I was working out in my garage, benchpressing 150 pounds. I lifted the bar back up onto the rack it sits on, then it rolled and caused one side to fall off and hit me on my face (at an angle fortunately; it got me under my rights eye and made a big gash, for which I got several stitches.)
Oh yeah and ABOU is still in the lead for his skiing accident from the previous injury thread. He broke his thumb, his arm in two places, cracked his skull, dislocated a shoulder and ankle that I remember.

Broke my R hand twice
Seperated L shoulder twice (or was it 3?)
Broken bone in R foot
Tore L knee up (cart)
Damaged back (cant touch toes)
sprained ankle/wriste too many times to recall
Black eye when I hit a tree stump with my face snowboarding (this isnt really an injury, its just funny)
hyper extended L elbow once R elbow once (this hurts) hyper extended R knee once (this hurts like a !@#$%^&*)
yup, I had fun growing up...

* 3rd degree burn to the back of my right hand, about age 2 (still have the scar)
* Severely lacerated my tounge jumping off the couch and hit my chin nearly biting my tounge into, around age 3 (the cut never completely healed, and you can see the place to this day)
* got hit in the right eye with a sinker cast from my buddy's fishing pole, nearly putting my eye out. Had patches over both eyes for a time. ("You'll put your eye out kid!" lol )
* Seperated my right wrist falling out of our apple tree age 9
* Broke 5th metatarsal bone in my right foot playing basketball age 17
* Severely sprained both ankles countless times druing and since high school
* has a muscle spasm so bad in my neck in college, that for a short time the natural curve of my cervical spine was bent backwards. I had woke up with a normal stiff neck, and later that night was horsing around punching a karate kick bag when it happened.
* While playing softball at college, I had a hard one hopper hit a rock on the infield, come up and smacked my right eye area. I had a beautiful shiner for weeks with blood showing under the skin of my right eyeball
* Cut off the corner tip of my right index finger off on a table saw at work, age 27 (It grew back)
* tore a groin muscle so bad that it bled under the skin, while playing softball, about age 29
* got my right achiles tendon nearly cut into by a razor knife at work. I limped for 6-8 months
* I broke a bone in my right ankle, stepping off the porch wrong while putting up christmas lights, age 38
that is all I can remember right now..... :(

Ouch, some of these sound painful so far. So Roadblock, which one of your injuries hurt the worst? I'm guessing the tore up groin muscles. Although almost biting your own tongue in half doesn't sound nice either.

(lol) Actually, the one I remember hurting the worst was the severe muscle spasm in my neck at college. It felt like someone stuck a knife in my neck and kept twisting it. I ended up taking way too many Tylenol 3's and was carried from the gymnasium by my buddies, making a total jerk of myself in the process. :) Following in close second place was the hit in the eye by the softball. I saw stars for several minutes after that one......
The ones from my early childhood, I don't really remember that well.

/frantic handwaving...Oh, oh,oh, teacher, teacher, call on me, call on me...
I was hoping this thread would come back.
Broken: Right collar bone - pistol whipped with a toy gun
Broken: 4th metatarsal in my right foot playing football (to compliment RB's 5th)
Broken: both ankles - first playing volleyball, the other just after the first - i guess it was tired.
Crushed: L2 vertebrae in a tragic betrayal 30ft up in my favorite climbing tree (the branch broke)
Broken: ribs - twice in the snow, once on land (?)
Illness: suspected brain tumor which turned out just to be an infection of the brain
Hyperextended: right knee chasing the dog through a hedge someone had strung metal wire knee height (I hear your pain fister)
Seperated: right shoulder - not dislocated but actually ligament tearing at the collar bone - very owwy
Miscellaneous breaks: both thumbs multiple times, right wrist, fingers, fingers, fingers, stitches like Frankenstein, contusions galore, concussions a few...:)
I am not a clutz, I just don't say no to those urges that tell you to do activities of borderline safety...

Sweet! I forgot about a whole pile of injuries! Reading what RB did brought back alot of great memories...
Damaged my eye rock climbing (a got stuck with the only branch on the %*&*^ mountain)
6 (YES SIX) concusions, the last being hit in the head during harm up for baseball, I remember getting up, and about ten minutes later I puked all over the catching gear... I had P.C.C. for about two weeks that was really sweet! Doctors have said no more contact sports, hell no more sports or I will end up like mic foley of the WWE
I got stepped on by metal cleats while stealing 2nd base, sliced my shin clean to the bone. Its kinda scary standing on second base, looking that the white of your bone...
Come to think of it 4 on my concusions were from playing baseball, the time I got hit in the head while batting and when I fell my face bounced off the plate...

I got beaten up by a gang of 10 year old kids, both front teeth knocked out. Painful embarrassing and expensive.

I don't have quite the stories you guys have, especially since I've never broken a bone or had stitches.
I've sprained my right ankle 4 times, my left ankle twice, and my left elbow twice. I'm still at a loss to understand how I sprained my elbow the second time, but I certainly won't forget the first. I was at Ontario Place, and there was this area that was like one of those bouncy castles, except it was just the ground, with an edge surrounding it so people could get out of the area. So, I was bouncing along happily, until I bounced off of the bouncy area and landed on the hard edge.. very unpleasant.
I also had a mild concussion once. I was cross-country skiing, my skis got stuck, but I kept going lol. My upper body lurched forward and I hit my head on the tightly compacted snow.. might as well have been on a rock! I had a several day headache after that one.

"6 (YES SIX) concusions, the last being hit in the head during harm up for baseball"
So you guys have harm up instead of warm-up? I don't want to be on your baseball team Fister.

Blood and gore keepem come'n
I have had my share of pain and broken things. Was at the campgronds our family freaqented when I was younger. Me and a friend got bored on afternoon and decided to go bike riding. So out the road we go, of course being kids we raced the whole way; the road was loose gravel that led out onto the paved highway. So naturaly when he cut me off as we came out on to the highway I couldn't stop and ran right over him, the front tire of my bike hookded him and stoped sending me sailing right over top of him and landing face first on the center line breaking my teeth in the proccess, I am pretty sure i had a concousion; and othe laserations, sprains and gravel bites; but I was pretty young and only remmember the Yellow ling rushing at me and waking up in the ditch. That little baby cost me about 8 trips to the dintest for caps that kept coming out. But after the last time when it came off the last time he said he would patch the thing for free hehehe FREE Pain yahe. I never went back. :D
Hope this one stays posted hehehe :D :D :D

I have had every unnecessary organ of my body removed except I probably could give up a kidney and one lung.
Tore both knees up in skiing accidents
Broken 2 ribs
3 Right Cheekbone fractures, one all the way to the occipital orb
Too many to count black eyes
Huge cut on my scalp at the top of my head from being hit with a gun butt.
Both ankles torn up from skiing
Numerous concussions and whiplash from snowmobiling
Cut throat on right side bv a messed up friend years ago
Broken right forefinger
Bad back requiring a month of traction for going backwards down the basement stairs
A bedsore on my hip that needed debreeding from the traction. Also had to spend 3 months on a walker after that--and I was 31.
A bunch of small cuts here and there requiring stiches.
A resection while getting my hysterectomy at age 35--yeah, I wanted to be like a young girl again. Childbirth ruins one, even with those stoplight exercises.
One lymph node removed from my neck that got infected when it was cut.
And, now I have MS.
Oh yeah, and I am crazy too.

I think getting the nose broken is abnout the worst since it affects your eyes and everything. And if you have a cold or hay fever, it's horrid.
Did you reset it yourself or get a doctor to do it?
