Wtf?

There is little game I am addicted to, Speed Marbles (http://www.netives.com/Games/SpeedMarbles/Play.shtml)
Never had problems before with it, but last night when my son pulled it up, it tells us that our current settings prohibit ActiveX. I have them enabled except for unsafe and unsigned. I have not changed my settings in months. What's the deal?

Do you let your computer do Windows Updates automatically?


Might have installed something new that won't allow that game to play.

Haven't updated recently. I fiddled around and got it to play.

I tend to use IE while the family uses msn explorer(they like the integration). MSN Explorer had updated itself when my son brought it up, he told me this yesterday after all my fussing and fuming and fiddling hehe. Anywho it had jacked with security settings. Under Microsoft VM it had disabled Java permissions, but had not messed with my settings for Active X.

I run into alot of the same problems. I like to use IE and my wife uses msn explorer. (I realy dont know why she does in my opinion it wastes a lot of space on the monitor)
