sharereactor offline?

one of my faviorite feeds on my napfood page...but when they offline it stops the page from loading... properly

does anyone know whats up over at SR?

Whats up with SR. I haven't been able to log in for a few days. Does anyone know if it is bad. The forum is down besides the main site.

Indeed Sharereactor is down though to my knowledge no one knows what's happened yet. I believe http://www.slyck.com has the latest info, but I can't check as I'm on a banned IP. Check the forums of other eDonkey sites and it seems pretty much everyone is coming to the same question... "What the hell?"

As of now you probably noticed that the main page (www.sharereactor.com) and the forums (forum.sharereactor.com) is offline. However our IRC server is still running, although you CANNOT connect to it through the DNS, so use 217.160.142.238 instead, and feel free to join #ShareReactor if you want too…

Now enough of this babbling…. Why is ShareReactor down? You’re all asking. The truth is, none of us knows. However it’s seems to be DNS problems, since jigle.com and a few other sites is online which is running on the same line as ShareReactor is/was. SimonMoon has been offline for almost 2 days at the time you are reading this, so nothing can and have been confirmed, so please don’t jump to any conclusions.

Now you all probably wonder when ShareReactor will be back up. Again none of us knows, however the core and some of the users still hang around at IRC, and when the page gets back online, that’s the first place it will be announced.

If you wish to contact anyone from the crew and are unable to get on IRC, you can use the mail addresses at the bottom of this post. If the person you seek is not listed, send the mail to someone else and tell him/her to pass it on

Ya know, I haven't been there for quite some time cause I had a big backlog of downloads in Overnet and wanted to clean em out before I added anything new. Well, just about all cleaned out and wouldn't ya know............. Oh well, good thing the BT sites are up and running. Plenty of good content still available.

well before sharereactor went down i tried to go there and it was just barely creeping along, it would be a hardsite to keep up with all the traffic.

that it has been shut down by Swiss authorities seems to have been confirmed at slyck (http://www.slyck.com/news.php?story=427)

here i was thinking it may of mooved to faster server...this is sour milk so bad its cheese.. :argue:

someone needs to make a web interface version thst uses edonkey deamon and have it fetch xml from the release groups..(that they would have tohost, update ..ect)and other varified sources and display them in a browser..or some sort of plug-in for emule maybe..
