for FW...whose beloved failed to qualify up front for the Daytona 500 today and has to race again to determine his position...(if I read the story from ESPN correctly).

Unfortuantely FW, only the first 2 spots were done today. Everyone else set by the twin 125's on Thursday.

No need to worry, he'll start the 500 in the top 10.

yay! I can't wait til sunday... we watched the bud shoot outs on saturday night...jr did alright considering... we have a party planned for sunday...it's almost as big as the super bowl!

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT I DID SATURDAY NIGHT!
I missed the shoot out because We let our EXTENDED cable go during the off season (no one in my house watches TV) and have it turned back on during race season. Well STUPID me thought about it too late and didnt get the extended turned back on in time so I assumed (and yes I know the saying) I didnt have TNT. I stayed on the Phone with Kitty through most of it and she gave me the play by play, the whole time I am so pissed off at my self I could have screamed!

Last night Ali is flipping through the channles and THERE IT WAS!!! TNT. I about flipped my lid...turns out TNT is part of basic cable!!!! IM TELLING YOU!!! If I could have kicked my self right square in the ass I would have right then and there!

FW,

The 500 is the only race that doesn't use the normal qualifying system. The only ones who get set on that day is the pole, and outside pole. Then spots 3-37 are set by where you finish in the twin 125's and 38-43 is the provisional crap, that I don't understand at all.

This is what I would guess as to how it would work. Biffle is on the pole, and Sadler outside. If Jr wins the first 125, he would start 3rd, and say if K. Harvick wins the second 125 he would start 4th.
