After you run the converter at www.peerugardian.net and convert the list to Sygate advanced rules, copy the entire converted list. Then paste them to a notepad document. Copy each set of rules, adding them to your Sygate advanced rules one at a time. They must be added individually, since there are too many to add as one list. I name them each one like, "PG Blocklist #1 as of 02-02-04, PG Blocklist #2 as of 02-02-04, etc, etc." There should be 8-10 sets of rules.

In the last version of PG you can export the blocklist directly and then just copy and paste to Sygate...

Good point LD, but I am not sure that they are the same list now. I think there was a little break between Method and the other PG site. Not sure how that ever came out. Of course, you could always use both lists I guess, to be sure. We may need to ask Method. :dontknow:

Does anyone know of any other blocklist converters, besides the one a Bluetack? I keep trying it, and it keeps freezing my browser.

Not yet, not that I am aware of. PG will convert the list into Sygate Advanced Rules, and that is all I need. I have used the Blocklist Converter at BISS and it does a good job as well. (at least it did the last time I used it)

Both Methlabs and BISS (Bluetack Internet Security Systems) are working hard on all their applications. That is good news for all of us who are concerned about privacy and security. Check Method's post yesterday here (http://www.unitethecows.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4424). ;)

vernarial, download and install the blocklist manager from that same site. it allows you to convert lists in the program itself (although i think the browser version may support more conversion types). try it out and see if you can convert to and from the file types u want.

and just as a side note - the converter on the site should "unfreeze" after 5-10 mins, especially if u leave it alone and don't do other stuff while it's going. If it's completely frozen after that, then i guess the blocklist manager is ur only other alternative.
