The disc, called an EZ-D, will be sold in an airtight envelope. Once the package is opened, the surface of the disc will start to react with the air, slowly changing colour from red to an opaque black over the next two days.

Personally i think any company who signs up to this is cutting their own throat. Surely they know by now that it takes just a few week for somebody to design a way to get around the copy protection if the existing ones dont already do it. sounds like an easy way to get the latest rental films without worrying about being spyed on through P2P networks.
