I know everyone likes their jams....now, let's break 'em down.....so...what 'cha listening to? Me, some good old Metallica, does good for the mind of wondering....so how about you? You like Metallica? Eminem? Anyone, it doesn't matter...just what you're in the mood for..... Hopefully, this will catch on like the "word association" game has...hehe...that is awesome! But, I know, every day is a new day for me.....some days I want to hear "mike jones"....sometimes, an overseas band......it just depends on how I wake up that day. So, what are your fav's? Post as much as the mods/admins will let you! That way, we all get our fav's out and known, and may discover others' favorites as our own! WHOA! Did he just say what I think he did...........YES, HE DID! So, let me know what rocks! I wanna see as many people as I can share their "2-cents"...that way, maybe all of our interests grow, as mine do continuously! <flame> insert flaming content, if desired, I'm used to it! </flame>

there may have been....darn....forgot about the search, but if most people are like me, then maybe your music styles change from time to time...so, it's maybe a good "firestarter" to get this going again? Correct me if I'm wrong, and forgive me if I am....I still love you cows!

:edit: I am absolutely in no way, or ever will, ignite, or participate in any flame wars from this day forth...hehe! Just a joke!!!! Plz, don't take it seriously! :dance2:

:double-edit: Thanks for the playlist! Gave me some new ideas! Now, If I've accidentally made a new thread, mods/admins, plz feel free to delete this! Just trying to bring some "pep" back to the forums! Love ya, mods! Couldn't live without ya!

greetings to all:

As i saw what you guys posted, i see that except a few exceptions of very good metal bands , most of what you posted are in the mainstreamhttp://www.unitethecows.com/forums/images/smilies/eek2.gif
:eek2: ( which i consider acceptable and i respect it to the most) , but i decided to post this to give a space to all the great indie bands, which most of the people dont know ( of course some people might know them).

Well lets start with metal since i noticed you guys like metalhttp://www.unitethecows.com/forums/images/smilies/feiertag-smiley-009.gif
:feiertag-, so here they go:

Children of bodom
rhapsody
meshuggah
angra
dragon force
iced earth
brutal truth
hammerfall
dream evil
nightwish ( this one belongs to the mainstream)
symphony x
mago de oz ( great epic - folk spanish metal)
avalancha ( spanish epic metal).
antestor
Lacuna Coil ( this guys invented the sub - genre played by evanescence).
asmeguin ( viking folk metal).

and now lets go with the indie rock
http://www.unitethecows.com/forums/images/smilies/action-smiley-035.gif
:urock:
Nouvelle vague ( dark rock classics from joy division, the cure or bauhaus played in bossa nova).
the faint
the bravery
kings of convenience
clap your hands and say yeah
the magic numbers
maria daniela y su sonido lasser ( kitsch electronic rock)
bloc party
cocteau twins
camper van beethoven
john cougar mellencamp
jeff buckley
my morning jacket
hot hot heat
sahara hot nights
cibo matto
the soup dragons
mano negra
dead cab for cutie
Lcd soundsystem
beck
annie
Moderatto ( great glam rock band !!!!).

just to cite some of them ; just i would like to get something very clear , this is not in any manner a criticism to the people who listen to bands from the mainstream , its just a defense for the indie metal and the indie rock.

Cheers

Andymoderatto
