I'm kind of confused about "networks"....

Does that mean if I use Shareaza, I can download things from more than one networks?

And if I use program that has a specific "network" (like eDonkey, Overnet, Gnutella).....I can only download things from ONE network?

Thanks! :)

You are exactly right amitabuda. Shareaza has the ability to connect to gnutella, gnutella2, edonkey, and can be used for your bittorrent needs.

That means that (if you have shareaza) connect to more than 1 network, then there is the possibilty that shareaza will be able to download the file you are looking for from more than 1 network. This means more sources for files.

a story (http://www.globetechnology.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20040116.gtp2p0116/BNStory/Technology/) i read about morpheus going down this track as well..
have been using mldonkey for most of last year with a web interface mostly in linux...
seems being open source is going to help get morpheus connected back to the fastrack network..maybe..:)
