Small Suggestion

I guess it is pretty early to be *****ing abt this but here goes....


One now in the new forums the attached images are displayed not like earlier version where they were just displayed as links......If they are displayed just as links then it would save a lot of bandwidth....


Two if it has been decided that images are going to be displayed then putting a limit width would prevent users frm posting images that will destroy tables.... the limit that is implemented on PCTT... u guys might be knowing it already....

Good thoughts Asterix. I already had discussed this with Unite, and we will be switching over to the attachment style of pic posting, I believe when we switch to our new permanent server. We are still on a temp server right now, and that is part of why we exceeded the bandwitdth so soon. Once all the changes are in place, things should go much smoother. :)

I had already limited the max size of posted images.

Looks like my limit was set just a wee bit too high..LOL.

Well that is what we are doing now, tweaking and adjusting to get things "just right"

just one thing it is good to get it all right but on the avatars on PCTT many of mine were too big to use but i can use them here please please dont make the limit smaller

Well, I certainly understand the need to conserve bandwidth, but I sure did like the "direct view" for posted pics as opposed to the link.
