ok lok at the top 10 posters
now i understad u lot has ure we mods only thread but what is there in it which is so interesting to get u lot posting so much about it seems all the mods have huge post counts even though not that may posts in public threads
i just got thinkin and it can be dangerous lol
(personaly i think it is mods only and a topic SPAM !!! lol )

Well, a whole lot of discussion goes into deciding who goes on our sh*t list. Fer instance we just added a new name.............LOL
Just kidding, this is something we have wrestled with, ( just a little bit of advice, ya don't ever wanna wrestle with FW, she cheats:sumo: ) it is very necessary for us to discuss at length a lot of site issues. Also the news that the staff posts to keep everyone up to date adds to the count.
We really have tried to keep everyones focus on quality rather than quantity. I know it is kinda nice to look at your post count and see how it compares to others, I mean, it's only human to compete, but my feeling is that there are better ways to guage your value to the community than post counts.
That said, I know damn well we are all still watching post counts, just keep the quality up and feel free to post away.

Actually, we have discussed changing the mod & admin forums so that they don't count towards our post counts, but only Unite could make that kind of coding change to the site software, and he has so many "irons in the fire" he has little time for things like that. I don't even know how many posts I have or who is in what place post count-wise, until someone brings it up. As rasta said, quality is much more important than quantity anyway. It's what you say, not how often you say something. ;)

ABOU, I look at my post count kind of like a personal reward. I look at it and remember how dedicated I am to this site. Its a constant reminder of how much time I have put into this site and it makes me smile every time I see it:hammered: I remember why I am paying so much money for my internet connection *L*

Yea, I agree ABOU. You do awright. In fact I would say we got us a fantastic bunch of people here.
Spammin is rarely a problem, but we have had people in the past who just were totally out of control. But the forum wouldn't be nearly as much fun if we all didn't do at least a little bit of spammin.
As far as RB goes, I sure hope fer your sake you got some Robitussin for that cough...............
