Just thought that I would pass this story along, as it just happened here at work. A woman named Nita walked passed my door. She’s a smaller woman who works down in a different department. Anyway, as she passed my door, both Judy (co-worker) and I heard a large crash noise, similar to dropping full boxes on the floor or something. I went out to see what it was, and found Nita on the floor passed out.

Instantly, a bunch of other co-workers popped out and began helping her. They woke her back up and kept her awake while I called 911. She had landed right on her chin, and injured her neck.

After that, the story goes per usual. Paramedics showed up, did some quick field testing to make sure she wasn’t massively injured. The strapped her in on the board, and put her in a neck brace, and took her to the hospital.

I’m fairly sure that she’s alright, but it was somewhat scary to see someone face-plant right outside my door, especially such a small woman. Everyone here at the office is fairly shaken up at the moment. We’re all a pretty tightly bound group of friends so It was pretty difficult for some of the people to see all this happening.

Anyway, just thought that I would share that. Hope that everyone has a good, and safe day.

Yea, that does freak people out. Her blood sugar probably dropped or something like that. Good to know that people know what to do in a medical scenario though.
