Anyone read "The Picture of Dorian Gray"? I'm thinking about picking it up...
Riscy, I'm looking in your direction :howdy:

Yeah, MM read that and enjoyed it. I preferred his plays though - so quotable. You should have a read of Lady Windemere's Fan, A Woman of No Importance, and best of all The Importance of Being Earnest (a must read).
The guy was a genius - such insight and such a way with words.

Well, depending on how well this book goes, I'll consider reading the others. I have so many books on my "must read" list at the moment, I'm sure I'll never catch up.

Just an update. I'm about half way through this book. So far, interesting. Something tells me, though, that Riscy is entirely right when he says that the plays are much better than his longer fiction.

Importance of Being Earnest - a great play. Still relevant after all these years.
Social commentary, sex/relationships, political (a little), and extremely funny.
Trust me on this one. And it is short - a couple of hours reading on a weekend - you want a session as you will not want to put it down.
