Second, I just got my tickets for the Ford Championship Weekend from Fedex yesterday. 3 days worth of racing. :coolio:

Don't you get bored watching the cars go round in circles? I like me motorsport but can't get a grip of that speedway thing. Saying that though they do have two too many wheels
Carrie

Ah no way, never get bored watching it!! there is always so much excitement! Watching them fly around the track at 200 miles per hr, bumping each other for position, getting their noses right under the other cars ass and taking the air causing them to get loose and they save it and dont spin out. Watching them come off the turns at 180mph, and come so close to the wall you could barely slip a piece of paper between the car and the concrete wall, and yet they dont hit the wall. and then theres the times that they do hit the wall, spin, hit the wall again, slide down the track taking out 4 cars along the way. Or people like Ryan Newman, and Elliot Sadler hanging ten and then hitting the ground only to flip over 4 or 5 times, and get out of the car and walk away!
How could you NOT LOOOOve to see it?????

Notin' wrong with a good crash. Watching it I think it was last year, a guy hit the inside wall at a good rate of knots and didn't walk away. not that that was good, crashes in general. Tend to prefer the Indy car series as they do a bit more track work I think at long beach and Laguna seca that type of circuit. Plus i think were used to watching races that don't slow down so much after an incedent and if it rains your guys park up for the day, ours just change tyres and get on with it, you see some great skills in the rain:D:D:D

I just wish you could understand how opposed i am to unnecessary gasoline consumption. Not only is it just terrible for the environment (and no, I don't use aerosal cans and haven't since the late 70's) it just fans the flamses of the oil crisis that brings about American subservience to Middle Eastern Oil Countires leading us into more wars.
That is why Pirates have Sail boats, except Tadd, and I look the other way with that. He does keep the money straight.
***Sepia Non-Moderator Speaking here: If these guys want to drive so badly, why don't they drive their cars in circles around Iraq and Afghanistan and let some kid that just wantd to make his college tuition come home.
