I like using Piolet, but it's always eating up my systems resources. It takes my system down from 97% free resources down to 50% in less than a minute, and I know my computer is slow, but Piolet really kills it for some reason. Any ideas?
can i ask if you run any other p2p apps does the same happen ??
and how much ram u got in ure system ?

Well, I forgot all about this thread, somebody finally replied to it after 21 days. I actually already quit using Piolet and now I'm using just Shareaza and WinMX. I found out Piolet is a resource hog for a lot of people, so I just stopped using it. Thanks anyway though ABOU.
(I can use WinMX and my system resources stay around 87% usually.)

in settings->protocol
it gives you the option to lower both memory and cpu usage

If you are still intrested in using piolet (mp2p network), Shades Coolray then you might give blubster 2.5 a try (it uses less resources than piolet). But don't forget to run adaware or spybot after installing blubster (or use dr. damn clean version)
lol i was going 2 recomend that 2 black spawn
