hey please read I'm kinda confused

hey I don't get this site and what your supposed to do besides post boards, so I was thinking I would post one that asked WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO AT THIS SITE, a friend of mine said that you get sued for having kazaa and he suggested that I go here and I don't know what it is PLEASE REPLY

Basically you can ask SPECIFIC questions here (not only about file sharing...we have people knowledgable in many areas).

If you are having problems with filesharing or if you just want some information then ask away...we are here to help.

We (UTC) is a "p2p portal", which means that this is where you can come to get info about p2p, filesharing, CDs, Burning, Computer help, etc.

Just look through the forums and try to post your question in the appropriate place....this helps get you answers quickly.

[Roadblock]

Having and using KaZaA Media Desktop (or one of the spyware/adware free versions) is not illegal. A judge has already ruled in a similar case (invloving similar p2p clients Grokster and Morpheus) that since the software can be used for legal purposes, that the software it's self is not illegal. Of course, the RIAA/MPAA are appealing that decision though. What is considered illegal, (according to the current fouled up, antiquated US copyright laws) in sharing copyrighted material using software such as KaZaA.
