Nero is a flexible, reliable, and easy-to-use application designed to write both data and CD audio to CD-R and CD-RW discs. It supports ISO 9660 images as well as ISO mode 1 and XA mode 2, and allows for on-the-fly disc recording in addition to overburning (if supported by hardware). Nero also supports multisession and mixed-mode recording, HFS, ISO/HFS hybrid, UDF, PSX, OFAS (optimal file access speed), track-at-once (TAO) and disc-at-once (DAO) writing, digital audio extraction, and more. In addition, Nero can dynamically disable automatic-insert notification, offers support for multiple languages, and works with all major models of CD-R and CD-RW drives. This download also contains Nero's standalone Cover Editor for designing and printing CD covers.

i have this product, it's pretty damn good, user friendly especially, for all the not so comp smart ppl. has quite a few extras like wave editor, backup tools, cover designer. all in all, i like the functionability, ease, and power. :)

I tried Nero 6 recently and it tends be a bit more of resource hog than 5. I discovered I can do more stuff on the computer simultaniously with nero 5 running than 6.

However nero 6 does have cooler features than 5.

I don't have a deffinate changelog, but I gathered from their site that the latest version fixed a registration bug. I had the problem, if I put the key in, it worked. If I restarted the program, it wanted the key again. The new version only needed my key ONCE!

The reg bug was in version 6 or 5, Phalkon?

I never ran into it in either.

Never had a problem with 5, or 6 until 6.0.0.15
