College Project

Hello, I am a 45 year old college student and I have a class project I was wondering if you could help me with.
For my business class I am to interview two people working in or a related field of of my choosen career path. I am studing Computer Networking. Philgorp thought you all might be willing to help me.

Here are my questions:
(Short answers are ok.)
1. Do you think Computer Networking as a career will stand up to technology changes over time?

2. What are future trends could I take advantage of in computer science?

3. What classes or training would be the most helpful for me in my career?

4. What are the best publications (other than just logging on to the Cow's) to keep me on top of the changes in Technology?

5. What has been the most useful knowledge in you career?

6. Would Computer Networking be a good career for a physically challenged individual?

That's it. Any help would be most appreciated.
