In general the staff usually just stands at the edge of the pasture and hoses down the herd. We find some like it and others tend to wander off in the opposite direction. Doesn't matter cause we don't miss enny when it comes time ta dip.........................

I too have experienced this kind of "fowl" mutiny. Rest assured lad - there may yet be a ray of hope for your wash maiden, and your laundry expenditures.

Requisition ye a new parrot. Train him well in the ways of the sea. When your new shoulder piece is ready to be promoted, strap that errant winged rat to the figurehead and let him squak his remaining few days away. When its screams of mortal terror and anguish no longer amuse you may then feed it to you newfound friend.

Having been witness to this, there are few birds fool enough to ever evacuate their bodily wastes within 3 leagues of your finely pressed coif.

I hope that this may be of some service to you, dirty sailor - perhaps you will have to change your name to the spotless sailor now.
