I use a app called Hide ip platinum to hide my ip , But it dosent work on p2p[ bittorrent ] . Anyone know a app or way to hide my ip on p2p ?

Anyone know how I can hide my ip while using bittorrent ? Using a proxy [ hide ip platinum ] isnt working on bittorrent . I dont like my ip being sent out like that , but at the same time I dont want to stop using bittorrent .

The client i prefer to use is ' Utorrent '

Its for security reason's . I dont like the idea that everyone im connected to [ possibly thousands of people im connected to on bittorrent ] can find my address , phone # , and my browsing history from my ip address . I think it also makes me more vulnerable to hackers ..

Bittorrent is Legal where im from ! And I dont know of any country that it isnt legal in ?

You have a very good point, Many things can be found simply by having an IP address.

I don't know of any program that works with Bittorrent at hiding your IP. I do know that some Bittorrent programs (BitComet for instance) allow you to set up a proxie server under preferences.

Another program that may help you is called IPFILTER-X (http://www.nexus23.net/programs.htm). It works like PeerGuardain it doesn't hide your IP but does block out all the nasty IP's you don't want looking in.The block list is updated regularly.
