So, father and I are fighting again. He likes to avoid confrontation. I sent him a rather lengthy e-mail, telling him that I was tired of his criticism and that he needs to just talk to me some time about these things. I assured him that I was not angry.
Last night, I had a short AIM conversation that looked like this:
HIM: Hello
ME: Hi.
HIM: Are you pissed.
ME: No, I said so in the e-mail
HIM: Ok, headed to bed.
ME: G'nite.
He then logged off.
I mean, really...what the hell! I know that I'm leaving a lot out, but I guess the main thing is, how do you force someone who avoids confrontation with his sons, to come forward with things. This all started because he didn't want to tell me in person that he didn't want me to come home anymore (visiting so often)
