View Full Version : Auto-Shutdown for BT?

Is there any way to make my pc shutdown after finishing a BT download? Of course id let it run an extra hour for uploads.:p

i havent seen a hack that does that, but thats not a nice thing to do, even if you let it go another hour. you should seed for at least as long as it took you to download the file.

I know what u mean man. I try to let the downloads run as much as possible. Unfortunately my pc is a bit worn down and to be safe let it shutdown...only during late night. After 3AM id let it turn off;)

there is a program that will, regardles sof what programs you have running put your computer to sleep (turn it off) you can get it here.... http://www.lullsoft.com

Hmm sweet. But since my new pc is working very well and the onboard lan chip is running a bit more efficient than
the old pc, I now need an auto activate. In the mornings I like to start the download when Im at high school/job.

ah, well erm... sorry can't help you with that one im affraid.
will have a looksee round but no promises. unless bit torrent supports command line executables- then you can use the program i sent you to to execute it at certain times. if not then erm.. some one else help?

Check all the third-party BT clients. I seem to remember one having an auto-shutdown feature.
